Are you based in Niagara or do you just service Niagara?

Bowes IT is and always has been based right here in Niagara. We’ve been based in Welland since we opened in 2003. Unlike many other MSPs you’ll find in a web search, we live and work in Niagara and offer our services outside of the Niagara Region as well, not the other way around.

Do you work outside of Niagara?

Yes, we provide managed IT services across southern Ontario and Canada. We work with organizations with staff located from BC to Newfoundland and Labrador. We even store computers for them so that we can quickly ship a ready-to-use computer when a new person joins their team. If we need physical access to a device, we arrange to have it shipped to us for repair, send a partner IT company onsite, or drive or fly to them ourselves. We solve problems, not matter what it takes.

Are you available to come onsite, or do you only work remotely?

Our staff are all from Niagara and visit clients here every day. We also work remotely when it makes sense to do so. Our IT support tools let us access your computers anytime from anywhere so that we can quickly solve problems and let you and your team get back to work.

Do you supply computers and other IT equipment?

Yes, we do. We have accounts with just about all Canadian IT suppliers, and we shop for the best prices and equipment available. Our team selects the right equipment for you so that we always provide the right solutions — never too little and never too much.

Is our business too big or too small for you to work with?

Our specialty is working with small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs). On the small side, we work with 4 or 5 employee businesses and on the medium side, we work with organizations with over 150 employees. If you’re a good fit for us, and we’re a good fit for you, we will give you the best experience possible, regardless of your size.

How do we get started?

We usually have a brief meeting with potential new clients to get an overview of your business, your IT systems, and the challenges you face with them. If we don’t think we’d be a good fit for you, we’ll tell you at this point before proceeding and wasting anyone’s time. Every business and IT setup is unique, so if we’re a good fit for you, we’ll suggest next steps that make the most sense for your specific needs. Often, that involves a visit to fix an immediate problem, a proposal for ongoing service, and/or any other measures that will make your quality of life with your IT better.
